New England School/Home for the Deaf

Built in the 1870's Was a Private familly owned Mansion till 1922 The owners sold the old Building and Barn to the state. In 1925 The State turned the Buildings in to a home/school for the deaf. The Old Mansion was closed in 2007 due to a explosion that forced them to build new homes/school on the grounds, the fate of the older barn and admin are under way, The state sold them and they will be turned into condos by a New Private Owner. I found this location when I was looking for nothing and was always wondering were this site was.
